After two discrete facelifts in 2007 and then in 2010, the current model will leave the place for a new generation starting with the end of 2012. Until then, however, even at the beginning of the year at Detroit Motor Show 2012, Japan will present a preliminary concept.
For now, we are pleased only a teaser image of the New Concept, from which you we can observe the figure of the new model. It is quite clear that the New Pathfinder will move toward the curved lines of the present Murano, for example.
The New Concept will have the same configuration with seven seats of the current generation and promises significant improvements in the ergonomics and interior space. In the technology, we only know that it will benefit from permanent all-wheel drive, but we expect the New Pathfinder will have the solution with separate chassis for a self-supporting body.
More details about the New Concept at Detroit Auto Show 2012 in early January.
