Jaguar XF Sportbrake

Jaguar revealed the first official photos and information on the new version Sportbrake XF. Public debut will be a few days in Geneva Motor Show, but until then we can see how the new model is presented.
Jaguar says the new XF Sportbrake combines on one hand elegant design with dynamic behavior and on the other hand - a luxurious interior with the cargo space of between 550 and 1675 liters (with rear seat bench 60/40). Outside, in front, the model retains the same features as the sedan version revised for 2012, but the roof line is raised by 48 millimeters to provide more space for passengers traveling in the rear.

In terms of powertrain ...

Sportbrake XF will be available with diesel multiple units. Thus, for those who are content with 190 hp and 450 Nm 2.2-liter unit is provided with the standard Stop / Start. If you want more power, you can choose one of two 3.0-liter turbo V6 that delivers 240 hp and 275 hp. All the engines are mated to a eight-speed automatic transmission.

Jaguar XF Sportbrake rear axle is equipped with air suspension in November. Mike Cross, Jaguar's engineering department manager said that "the use of air suspension allowed us to realize a machine that retains the unique combination of refinement and Jaguar outstanding dynamic abilities, regardless of cargo transported."

Regarding size, Sportbrake XF is longer than the sedan, but is identical in width, the wheelbase and has the same load towing (maximum permissible braking system of its own) of 1,850 kilograms.
