KIA Pro Ceed - First Teaser

The launching of the new Kia Ceed at 2012 Geneva Auto Show brings high expectations from the Koreans, who thought the car as a direct rival for the well known compact models like Volkswagen Golf, Opel Astra and Ford Focus.
Now, here we test the patience and dedicated young version: Kia Pro Ceed. That body in 3-door version, the third after 5-door hatchback and wagon Ceed SW. Unfortunately, for now we only sketch some of the new Kia Pro Ceed, official images will be released around 2012 Paris Motor Show, where the world premiere of this version ready.



The powertrain, Kia Pro Ceed will take petrol engines and diesel from the hatchback, but the novelty will be the top of the range, which is like a hot hatch demanding, because you get a turbocharged 1.6 TGDI, which will develop less than 200 hp - ie more than cousin Hyundai Veloster Turbo.

Obviously, KIA Pro Ceed will count on small changes in external detail designed to make it clearly more dynamic than the five-door sister. Thus, Koreans are becoming bolder, and the recent "guts" of the officials, who announced that the next goal is to attack the German premium brands, we do not seem unattainable.
