With the new generation of the Q7, Audi will try to broaden their offer SUV to rival the BMW may have already. Such a model is born again, baptized Q8, is not nothing but a more sporty and attractive to future Q7.
The two SUVs will share the same platform and will use the same components. The only difference comes in terms of design.
Q8 will use the new Volkswagen Group platform, dubbed Evo MLB, managing to keep a total mass less than two tonnes.
The engine range will consist of units V6 diesel or petrol engines, capable to provide good benefits. We will most likely find the 3.0-liter TFSI unit in versions 230 and 300 horsepower, impressive V8 bi-turbo 4.0-liter, 550 horsepower and 3.0-liter V6 TDI diesel, also present in several power versions.
There will be no four-cylinder engines, more economical. They will be reserved brother Q7, where units will be assisted to give birth electric hybrid versions with low emissions.
