Mercedes and AMG celebrates 45 years since the creation of the first performance product. To celebrate properly record age, the Germans launched a special edition SL65 AMG newly produced, as you probably guessed, the only 45 copies.
To individualize the best version of 45th Anniversary Edition, Mercedes used a special metallic paint, gray grille replaced the standard, and added some carbon fiber accessories: cases for mirrors, a deflector and rear spoiler and a front spoiler extension. Aesthetics is complemented by a custom set of wheels brand AMG Performance Studio, size 19-inch front and 20 inch back.
Inside, the 45th Anniversary package brings a special leather with pearl gray and beige shades, sewn especially on the electrically adjustable sport seats. For Nappa leather upholstery of the roof was used. The sports steering wheel has carbon fiber elements, and the center console was placed a plaque that reminds everyone of the limited number of copies has been produced edition.
Under the hood lies the same architecture as the SL65 AMG's series. We're talking 6.0-liter V12 bi-turbo, offering 630 hp and 1,000 Nm, able to propel the car from 0 to 100 km / h in 4 seconds, up to a maximum speed, electronically limited, 250 km/h.
