British luxury car manufacturer Rolls-Royce, part of German group BMW sold last year 3,538 units, a new record in the 107 years of automotive manufacturer history, according to The Guardian newspaper.
In 2010, Rolls-Royce sold 2,711 cars, with 31% less.
The results were supported, as with other auto manufacturers, the appetite for luxury cars emerging markets. The portfolio Rolls-Royce comprises models such as Phantom, Corniche and Ghost.
