Infiniti has big plans in Europe, President Carlos Ghosn announced that the target brand sales in 2016 is 100,000 cars per year. The figure is eight times higher than that of Infiniti in Europe in 2011, the Japanese brand of sales 12,500 units.
According to President Renault-Nissan alliance, the main engine of growth should be the new compact model that will enter the segment now dominated by the 1 Series, Audi A3 and Mercedes A-Class. It will inspire the aesthetic level of Etheria concept presented last year in Geneva, and promises to take many young Western European customers who are looking for a compact differently than what is offered on the market today.
